**Job Description:**

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As part of a residential aged care home, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents in a safe and home-like environment.

The ideal candidate will have a heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly, excellent communication and teamwork skills, flexibility and the ability to adapt to change, as well as a Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent.

You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure care plans are followed and maintain documentation to optimize our residents' health and well-being.

As a Personal Care Assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to make a positive and rewarding impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Support with day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
  • Work with clinical staff to ensure care plans are followed
  • Maintain documentation and work as part of a team to ensure optimal resident health and well-being

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Covid vaccinated
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain
