We are seeking experienced Procurement and Contract Administrators to join our team in Canberra.

\About the Roles
  • Average APS5 Contract Manager Officer (Data Administration Officer)
  • 2 x APS6 Contract Manager Officers (Procurement and Contract Administrators)

As a Contract Manager Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring procurement activities are delivered efficiently, transparently and in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring deliverables, milestones and records for administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with CPRs and agency policies.
  • Providing reporting support to the procurement team.

Key responsibilities of APS6 Contract Manager Officers include:

  • Leading low to medium complexity procurement processes.
  • Drafting and negotiating contract terms.
  • Providing advice on procurement strategy, risk management and compliance.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to capability development initiatives.

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Desirable experience with procurement and financial systems.

Relevant qualifications in procurement, contract management or related disciplines are highly regarded.
