The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our brand-new facility in Ipswich, Queensland.

As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for site-wide maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring flawless operations and optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to maintain and improve our manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure productivity
  • Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs
  • Collaborate with our team to establish best practices and processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
