About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our Fleet Services Branch. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the maintenance and servicing of our internal fleet of heavy vehicles, civil plant, and specialized machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and assist with the development of specifications for the maintenance and servicing of all plant, trucks, and vehicles.
  • Oversee the completion of worksheets, registers, dockets, timecards, and requisitions using the relevant corporate applications.
  • Supervise mechanical workshop operations, employees, contractors, apprentices, and trainees to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services to council assets and customers.
  • Contribute to a safe workshop and positive workplace culture.
What's on Offer
  • A competitive salary of $41 per hour plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
  • A 9-day fortnight, with every second weekend being a long weekend.
  • Four weeks annual leave, with 17.5% loading.

  • Monday to Friday hours, with an afternoon shift.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A mechanical trade qualification and experience in the relevant vehicle class.
  • A current driver's license applicable to your trade qualification, with a minimum C class.
  • A White Construction card or the ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical environment.
