Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying data in the payroll system, ensuring accuracy during data uploads for EBA Award increases, while also keeping up-to-date with any legislative changes. They will offer assistance to managers and employees on all payroll-related matters, build strong internal relationships, and deliver prompt, efficient customer service by resolving payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify data in the payroll system to ensure accuracy during data uploads for EBA Award increases, while also keeping up-to-date with any legislative changes.
- Offer assistance to managers and employees on all payroll-related matters.
- Build strong internal relationships and deliver prompt, efficient customer service by resolving payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to line managers and staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy in payroll systems and adherence to governance standards.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the organisation offers a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home or in the office. The company also provides opportunities for career development and advancement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need previous payroll experience in a similar end-to-end role, exposure to high-volume payroll systems, preferably using iChris, and experience with large volumes of employees. You will also need an in-depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes, exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines while working independently.
