The Opportunity

  • Oversight of all event planning and delivery aspects, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective risk management.
  • Bolster sponsorships and collaborations that amplify reach and create value for the City and its stakeholders.
  • Manage resources with a clear focus on outcomes and financial prudence.
  • Lead a skilled team, fostering creativity, high performance, and alignment with the City's values.
About You
  • A proven track record in delivering major events and sponsorships, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • A tertiary qualification in events, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • Strong business acumen, including strategic planning, budgeting, and governance knowledge.
