We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Specialist to join our dynamic team at Carsales. In this transformative role, you will be instrumental in driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategies.

About the Role:

  • Lead Data Collection: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify web and app data collection requirements, ensuring alignment with revenue and commercialization opportunities.
  • Develop Implementation Practices: Evolve the development of implementation practices to enable fit-for-purpose digital data collection, supporting incremental growth and expansion of data utilization across the Carsales business.
  • Analyse and Interpret Data: Act as a key subject matter expert, advising data customers on optimal data points for collection and implementation, based on their needs.

What You'll Do:

  1. Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure feasible measures of success are incorporated into data collection requirements.
  2. Manage end-to-end implementation of data collection to designed specification across app and web, enabling Carsales to record and act upon user behavior, traits, personas, interaction with digital features and functionality, opportunities for A/B testing and experimentation, customer journey, and purchase patterns.
  3. Construct points-of-view on emerging digital analytics technologies with applicability to Carsales and delivery of commercial success in mind.
