Automotive Mechanic Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment. This role is ideal for a qualified tradesman with experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize technical skills to perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
  • Conduct preventive servicing, data collection, repair, and maintenance duties.
  • Promote a safety-first approach in all work activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective solutions.
  • Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
  • Have your own tools.
  • Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
  • Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
  • A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
  • Experience working within procedural guidelines.
  • Good communication skills and proactiveness.
  • A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
