Job Opportunity

A key member of our cybersecurity team, the Vulnerability Management Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. They will be responsible for reviewing output from vulnerability scanners, working with the scanning team to remove duplications or false positives, and prioritizing remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review output from vulnerability scanners and work with the scanning team to ensure thorough scanning, including scanning with credentials and all IT assets listed in our inventory.
  • Prioritize what needs to be remediated first, focusing on critical vulnerabilities on internet-facing servers and key IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure remediation tickets are assigned to the correct teams and suggest opportunities for automation.
  • Educate stakeholders about the risks to the business, external and internal threats, and the importance of vulnerability management and hygiene patch management and server hardening.
  • Work with the Server and Infrastructure build team to integrate vulnerability scans into the build process, ensuring new equipment is free from critical vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate remediation efforts, collaborating with Change Management and relevant teams to allocate resources and validate post-patch success.
  • Identify end-to-end process improvement opportunities and improve VM reporting for management and remediation teams.
