Vehicle Buyer and Warranty Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Vehicle Buyer and Warranty Specialist to play a pivotal role in two key operational areas: vehicle procurement and warranty support.

The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing online auction listings, ensuring the suitability of vehicles for dismantling, and optimizing part selection using available data. They will also work closely with the Reclaimed Operations Manager to achieve gross margin targets through strategic vehicle and part selection.

Additional responsibilities include assisting customers with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to faulty products, providing clear solutions over the phone, and processing warranty paperwork accurately.

The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of the mechanical and automotive repair industry, strong mechanical diagnostic skills, and experience working with Pinnacle and Bid Buddy systems. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills are also essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Sound knowledge of the mechanical and automotive repair industry
  • Strong mechanical diagnostic skills with ability to troubleshoot product faults
  • Experience working with Pinnacle and Bid Buddy systems highly regarded
  • Skilled in interpreting manufacturer parts catalogues and determining interchangeability
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills
