The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced fitness professional to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a Gym Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal training sessions to our members, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting a safe and supportive fitness environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver personalized fitness programs for members, taking into account their goals, fitness levels, and health requirements.
- Conduct fitness assessments and create workout plans to help members achieve their fitness goals.
- Provide guidance and support to members on proper exercise technique, nutrition, and lifestyle habits.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of member progress and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive fitness program.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, research, and best practices to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum Cert IV in Personal Training or equivalent.
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia (or equivalent).
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and member satisfaction.
