Job Description
This position involves supporting a government department by managing office tasks, completing essential administrative duties, handling financial summaries, and coordinating mail distribution. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations and staying updated on department policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Complete administrative duties such as filing, scanning, archiving, and organizing documents.
- Handle financial summaries, banking reports, and manage cash payment records.
- Coordinate mail distribution, external couriers, and internal correspondence.
- Organize meeting rooms, coordinate catering, and prepare for events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess basic admin skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite and ability to operate office equipment. You should also be reliable, able to follow established routines, and work independently with general direction. While formal qualifications are not required, a Certificate III or IV in business, administration, or a related field can be beneficial.
