Operational Services Director

The Operational Services Director is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the department. This includes monitoring and investigating the implementation of systems, developing staff training programs, and coordinating routine maintenance of plant and equipment.
This role requires a high standard of leadership and management, with experience in aged care and the ability to coordinate quality activities and documentation, as well as maintain effective reporting/recording systems.
Financial management skills are essential, including cost centre management.
Key Responsibilities:- System Implementation: Monitor and investigate the implementation of systems to ensure optimal utilisation of resources.
- Staff Training: Develop and implement staff training programs to maintain high standards of training and development.
- Operational Policies: Ensure operational policies, procedures and goals are implemented and reviewed regularly.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate routine maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Quality Activities: Ensure coordination, collation and analysis of quality activities and documentation.
- Reporting Systems: Maintain effective reporting/recording systems to facilitate accreditation processes.
Aged care criminal history clearance and/or a NDIS card are mandatory for this role.
