  • A leading regional hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and High Dependency Unit to lead their anaesthetic services team.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader who possesses excellent clinical and managerial skills, with experience in directing multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to the anaesthetic services team;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that reflect best practice in anaesthesia;
  • Leading the development of education programs for medical staff and students;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders.


The Hospital

This 83-bed hospital provides a wide range of acute, community and primary care services, including emergency, general medicine and surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and mental health services.

The hospital has approximately 392 full-time equivalent staff delivering services across these areas, making it an ideal place to work for those who value teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • FANZCA certification;
  • Proven experience in directing anaesthetic services teams;
