About Us: Painter Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated painter to join our team. As a group painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the homes we operate present their best appearance through painting.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify touch-up painting needs
  • Review the infrastructure to plan and complete painting projects across our aged care homes
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, accessibility, and building codes
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruptions and ensure safety
  • Manage and maintain equipment related to painting tasks
  • Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for specialized tasks
Your Responsibilities:

You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality painting services. This includes:

  1. Developing and implementing a painting program that meets the needs of our residents and staff
  2. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
  3. Providing exceptional customer service and communication
  4. Identifying and addressing any potential issues or concerns
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A resident-centric mindset in all aspects of your work
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and develop based on feedback
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to apply
  • Trade Certification as a Painter is preferred

This is a physical role involving bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items. You must perform these tasks safely without risk of injury.
