Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced insurance practitioner to support our dynamic Sydney team. This role will involve working alongside our Principals on various insurance matters, with a focus on financial lines.

The successful candidate will have around 5+ years' post admission experience and strong knowledge and experience in litigation and insurance law. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to articulate complex issues in a practical and client-focused manner.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage client expectations, advise on policy and complex issues, and run matters autonomously. You will also have the chance to coach and mentor junior staff, gaining satisfaction from seeing them succeed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Around 5+ years' post admission experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in litigation and insurance law, with experience in coverage and financial lines
  • Ability to manage client expectations, advise in policy and complex issues with a practical and client-focused approach
  • Aptitude to run matters autonomously
  • A clear and concise communication style
  • A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively
