At a medium-to-large organization, we are seeking an experienced accounts payable professional to step into a busy finance environment during a short-term leave period.

About the Role
  • Accurate and timely data entry of supplier invoices is crucial for our business continuity.
  • Managing high-volume accounts with varying supplier demands requires strong organizational skills.
  • Ensuring AP is kept under control during a busy period of growth necessitates effective time management.
  • Supporting end-of-month processing and ensuring deadlines are met is vital for maintaining a smooth workflow.

This is a well-defined, short-term opportunity that will see you play a key role in ensuring AP continuity while the incumbent is on leave. You'll receive a thorough handover (with overlap before the end of the month) and be supported by a team committed to setting you up for success.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in data entry are essential for this role.
  • Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and remain calm at peak times is necessary for maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and availability for the handover period is required.
