Senior Investment Transaction Specialist

We are seeking an experienced transaction professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of investment proposals and due diligence.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions across multiple asset classes within our diversified portfolio.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Identifying new opportunities aligned to our strategy
  • Analysing and making recommendations on short-listed opportunities
  • Preparing underwrite packs, investment models and development feasibilities
  • Preparing fund models
  • Supporting buy and sell side processes
  • Identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Assisting with contractual documentation and negotiation
  • Coordinating internal approvals
  • Coordinating and project managing internal transaction workstreams
  • Engaging with external stakeholders including agents, consultants and advisors
  • Maintaining transaction databases
  • Contributing to strategic projects
  • Representing us in the market
  • Building team capability and evaluating compliance, risk, and HS&E implications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a proactive self-starter and high-performing property professional with excellent report writing, financial modelling skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

You will also have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, or similar
  • Experience: 2+ years as an analyst in the industry, ideally supporting transactions or advisory
  • Skills:
  • Strong investment modelling and development feasibility skills
  • Understanding of operational and financial parameters in established and development assets
  • Solid understanding of the market, market metrics and trends across asset classes
  • Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
  • Customer focus – anticipating and understanding the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
