Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Control team at our Wodonga Distribution Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Quality Control team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Validate compliance with product quality and labelling specifications set by our quality assurance team and government legislation.
  • Manage the Banana ripening process to achieve optimal quality and colour stage for our stores and customers.
  • Collaborate with our Commercial Buying Team to ensure we deliver the best quality offer for store operations and enhance customer experience.
  • Deliver safe, quality products in line with our specifications and company KPIs.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing a diverse team, including managing performance, development, and engagement of team members.
  • Previous experience in a similar role working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Driven by a customer-centric mission and passionate about being part of a team that delivers exceptional results.
  • Understanding of supermarket retailing and commercial processes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
  • Strong computer skills in MS or Google Suites.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes as part of physical work requirements.
