This casual role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your local community by ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers, and motorists.
About This Role- As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing safe passage for students during school zone hours.
- You will work independently, making decisions that require common sense and a focus on student safety.
- Become a familiar face at local schools, developing relationships with teachers, staff, and families.
- Manage traffic flow, directing vehicles and pedestrians as needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in road safety and emergency procedures.
- You must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment.
- All necessary training, uniforms, and equipment will be provided.
- You are required to undergo a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment.
- You will receive an hourly rate plus superannuation.
- This is an on-site role with in-person duties.
- You are a reliable and community-minded individual who is passionate about contributing to the well-being of others.
- You possess effective communication skills and are alert to potential dangers.
