Job Title: Campus Safety Coordinator
The Mid North Coast Local Health District is seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to assist in providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors in the Mental Health Unit at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
This role requires the successful applicant to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, assisting clinical staff in patient care and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage aggressive incidents and challenging behaviours with confidence and flexibility
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients/clients and members of the public
  • Comply with environmental cleaning, work health and safety principles, and infection control protocols

About You:
  • Hold a current Class 1A Security Licence and Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Demonstrate skills to manage aggressive incidents and/or challenging behaviours
  • Be flexible and willing to take directions from supervisors
