We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Community Relations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with communities and stakeholders, and has a passion for communications and public relations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies, managing partnerships, and coordinating internal recognition initiatives. They will work closely with our Brand, Communications and Marketing team to ensure messaging aligns with our values and voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and manage community partnership programs that enhance our brand and contribute to positive local impact">
  • Organise and facilitate local community meetings and events, building meaningful relationships with residents and stakeholders">
  • Prepare engaging content—newsletters, event summaries, social posts—to support both internal and external communications">
  • Respond to community feedback and collaborate with media teams when required">
  • Monitor relevant government policies and local issues that may affect our operations">
  • Work closely with our Brand, Communications and Marketing team to ensure messaging aligns with our values and voice">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Experience in a community engagement, internal comms, or stakeholder relations role">
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, community development, or a related field">
  • A proactive and empathetic communicator who enjoys bringing people together">
  • Comfortable organising events, writing content, and supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders">
  • Ideally some experience in the infrastructure, resources or construction industries">
