Job Description

This position is ideal for doctors who wish to advance their career in General Practice or explore a pathway in BPT. As a Senior Resident Medical Officer in General Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work in various rotations including Emergency Medicine, General/Geriatric Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Relief, and Respiratory Medicine.

  • Delivering medical care as a junior member of a multi-disciplinary team is the core responsibility of this position.
Key Requirements
  • Hold an MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Be registered with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Have minimum 2 years post-graduate training and 12 months experience in an Australian public hospital
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
