Job SummaryWe are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will support clients through their whole rehabilitation journey, becoming a rehab expert and advocate for their recovery and health. You will deliver counseling, conduct assessments, work with treatment providers, and develop graduated return plans.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for clients who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and health
- Deliver counseling to clients grappling with sudden changes in their career goals and circumstances
- Conduct assessments to guide clients toward their new career
- Work with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for clients
- Develop graduated return plans by liaising with doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goals
- Case manage complex psychological issues and liaise with treating health professionals
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology (completed 5th year) and registration with AHPRA or ASORC
- Commitment to being the best, with a passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to be an effective communicator
- Ability to bring new ideas to the table and contribute to a vibrant and diverse team
