Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at IPAR. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury. Our team of highly skilled allied health professionals and employment consultants work together to provide psychological or physical supports to help individuals live life to its fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case management and assessment of clients with workplace injuries or illnesses
  • Development and implementation of injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaboration with employers, employees, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to work outcomes
  • Assessment and support of clients with a range of conditions, including physical and psychological injuries
  • Completion of various assessments, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion and kindness, with empathy and understanding of clients' needs
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to manage caseloads
