Energy Infrastructure Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Policy and Project Officer within our organization. This position involves leading initiatives to maintain a safe, secure and reliable electricity and gas supply while advancing a clean, affordable energy future.
The successful candidate will be responsible for policy stewardship, regulation and investment across energy infrastructure and markets, including generation, storage, networks and fuel pipelines. They will also coordinate emergency response and provide expert advice.
- Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Networks and Access – lead policy reforms to deliver REZ, network projects and access schemes to connect large-scale wind and solar.
- Development and Performance – policy stewardship of electricity network and gas pipeline safety and regulatory framework.
- Generation and Storage Investment – policy stewardship and reform for generation, firming and long-duration storage roadmaps.
This role requires a strong background in policy analysis and development, with experience in identifying and implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
