  • Ensure compliance with hospital policy directions, service standards, and financial targets.

About the Hospital

Our hospital serves a population of approximately 116,000 and has two major sites located approximately 50km apart. The Emergency Departments handle an estimated 30,000 patient visits annually, catering to a diverse patient population.

About the Location

Our hospital is located on a pristine coastline, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and modern amenities. The local countryside is renowned for its produce, and you can enjoy award-winning cheese at the factory outlet and taste whisky at the cellar door.

Requirements

  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
  • Hold or be eligible for FACEM.
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level, ideally with Head of Department/Clinical Director experience.
  • IMGs who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
