Senior Water Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Specialist to lead the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure for projects in Australia and globally.

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop sustainable capability in our Australia-based team and internationally.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of gates, hoists, outlet works, trash racks and screens, fishways, pipe work, valves and other mechanical equipment associated with dams
  • Experience at all project phases including project identification, feasibility studies, conceptual design, reference design, and detailed design
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and management
  • Strong understanding of hydropower principles and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
