Job Opportunity: Safety and Security Supervisor
">This is a permanent part-time opportunity to oversee, implement and maintain security procedures to provide a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
">Key responsibilities include de-escalation of aggression, conflict or distress, recognising early stages of aggression and intervening proactively to diffuse situations.

- Maintain currency in respect of all mandatory training requirements and certifications.">
- Ensure officers on the shift are capable and prepared for their duties.">
About You
">As a supervisor, you will be responsible for taking care of your own health, safety and wellbeing, as well as ensuring staff under your control take similar action.
">You must also be accountable for the security, confidentiality and use of information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies and procedures.

">The incumbent is expected to contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
">This includes actively supporting the elimination of racial discrimination and institutional racism, increasing access to healthcare, influencing social, cultural and economic determinants of health, and delivering culturally safe and responsive health services.
