Conduct access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring and supervise a team across various client sites across Queensland.

About the Role

The position is primarily responsible for providing relief to our regional sites. Working in both a Security Officer and Supervisor capacity across various client sites.

This is a FIFO (fly in fly out) role departing from Brisbane to various client sites across Queensland. Shared accommodation and meals will be provided for the rotation. You must be available to work a roster of up to 14 days on, consisting of 12 hour shifts, both days and nights. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Perform access control duties
- Lock and unlock site access points
- Conduct patrols and monitor CCTV footage
- Supervisor a team of Security Officers
- Validate, issue/retrieve and conduct random checks on ID/access cards
- Conduct random Drug & Alcohol tests on personnel
- Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer enquiries
- Maintain logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork, and using computer terminal to input and retrieve data

Skills & Experience:

- Current QLD Security Licence - Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Current drivers' licence - open manual licence
- Current Occupation First Aid certificate - must be willing to obtain
- MSIC - Maritime Security Identification Card - must be willing to obtain
- Maritime Security Guard (MSG) qualification - must be willing to obtain
- QLD 30215 General Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card) - must be willing to obtain
- Drug & Alcohol Testing qualification - must be willing to obtain
- Training and Assessing Qualifications (preferred)
- RIIRIS402D - Carry out the Risk Management Processes (preferred)
- RIIVEH305F - Operate and maintain a four wheel drive vehicle - MSS Security will fund
- Intermediate computer skills
