We have multiple roles on offer and high demand for our team. We are seeking experienced Underground Mining Engineers to assist Tier 1 Clients around the country. Roles are 8/6 rosters with FIFO from capital cities available.

The Roles

The roles involve supporting active underground operations across NSW, QLD, SA and WA. You will work with established technical services teams to provide day-to-day support for mine planning and execution. All travel time, costs, and accommodation will be covered, alongside Prime Mining\'s industry-leading remuneration. The roles offer options for the disciplines below:

  • Mine production planning, including lateral/vertical development, stope notes and level plans.
  • Scheduling/forecasting to support the site planning team and execution process (Deswik Scheduler).
  • Drill and blast design and planning for production and development.
  • Ventilation design and planning.
  • Backfill planning and execution support.
To be considered
  • A tertiary qualification in Mining/Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Located in a capital city or willing to relocate there or regionally near clients
  • Previous practical experience in underground mining in Australia and an established understanding of mining operations
  • Exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel, along with relevant technical expertise
  • Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
