The Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Manager oversees and maintains systems and programs for Accreditations related to heavy vehicles. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering collaboration between teams, and driving operational excellence.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise for the development, maintenance, and improvement of reporting tools, including self-service, incident management enhancements, statistics, and dashboards with agile measurements.
- Maintain and manage heavy vehicle accreditation (NHVAS and WAHVAS), facilitating regulator audit programs and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
- Maintain systems, processes, and assurance that support heavy vehicle accreditation specifically, including fatigue, mass, dimension, and loading, fitness for work, and maintenance.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders operating under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and Western Australia Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA).
- Participate in the development and delivery of an accreditation awareness education package for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure currency of knowledge on all heavy vehicle accreditation requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle operations or regulatory capacity.
- Excellent analytical, project management, organizational skills in high-risk environments.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage risks, and implement short-, medium-, and long-term strategies.
- Proven accuracy and thoroughness in work execution.
- Ability to guide and train others in risk assessment, prioritization, and management.
