Job SummaryThis 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (3 days a week) based in Fortitude Valley will see you join our dynamic team as an experienced People and Culture Business Partner.
You will partner with leaders across a dedicated portfolio of the business, enhancing employee experience and supporting managers to lead their people well.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and support on employment relations workforce matters, options and best practice solutions that align with policies, procedures, relevant legislation and applicable industrial instruments.
- Lead workplace investigations, performance improvement and disciplinary processes.
- Partner with Group Managers and provide guidance on significant workplace changes.
- Develop and deliver training as required, partnering with the Learning and Development lead.
- Support the Chief People Officer with projects and operational matters, including Enterprise Bargaining Agreements development and negotiations.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and prepare remuneration recommendations and advice for senior management.
- Review and develop People and Culture policies and procedures.
- Support governance-related projects and promote Y Queensland employee benefits programs and other engagement initiatives.
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a People and Culture Business Partner role in a medium-to-large organisation.
- Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and other employment-related legislative and regulatory obligations.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply acts, Enterprise Agreements, awards and other industrial and legal instruments.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to support a culture of continuous improvement.
- A valid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
