We're seeking a Chief Brand Strategist who will lead the development and implementation of our brand, marketing, and communications strategy. Reporting to the Executive Leader, People & External Relations, this pivotal role has ultimate accountability for the effective delivery of all aspects of our brand and communications program.

This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with experience in leading brand, marketing, and/or communication divisions within the water or utilities sector, public sector, or other critical services. You'll partner with Leaders at each level of the organisation to design, develop, deliver, implement, and continuously evolve strategies, programs, innovations, and solutions that enable customer-centric, service-minded, and value-focussed ways of working.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing Urban Utilities' Brand, Marketing, and Communications Strategy and program
  • Leveraging expertise in project and change management, risk management, and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams
  • Overseeing corporate communications, publications, and reports while leading crisis management communication activities and strategies
