Summerland is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Credit and Risk team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this role is an integral part of the Credit and Risk Division.

The ideal candidate will assist Summerland in managing risk whilst implementing strategy for growth and sustainability, designing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework.

You are open to continuous learning in risk management and identifying innovative ways to improve the Risk Management Framework.

  • Manage risk while implementing strategies for growth and sustainability.
  • Provide oversight and advice on risk across Summerland, including the design and maintenance of the risk management framework.
  • Act as a support to management and staff to build their understanding of Risk and how it applies to their roles.
Key Responsibilities

The Risk Analyst will:

  • Develop and maintain risk models to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse data to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives.
