Insurance Risk Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering tailored insurance solutions across Professional Indemnity and Management Liability.

You will assess and underwrite complex risks while working closely with broker partners to meet evolving customer needs. This is a digitally enabled role where innovation, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centricity are central to how we operate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business in line with our underwriting framework and delegated authority.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and distribution partners to support retention, growth, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Use digital tools and data analytics to assess risk and identify portfolio trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and digital innovation in underwriting practices.
Requirements
  • Bring experience in underwriting—ideally within Financial Lines—or come from a broking background in this space and looking to transition into underwriting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of risk assessment, pricing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience using digital platforms and analytics to support underwriting decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and negotiate tailored solutions.
  • Effective collaboration across Claims, Product, and Risk Engineering teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
