A/R Clerk
Description:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process from start to finish.
This includes verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data, as well as processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting bank deposits electronically, verifying discrepancies and resolving client billing issues, and facilitating payment of past due invoices using reminders, statements and calls to customers for collection of outstanding funds.
In addition, you will generate reports detailing accounts receivable status and send them to management, including sales.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and 3-5 years of experience in receivable roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
They will also have strong computer knowledge, specifically advanced MS Excel skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire accounts receivable process from start to finish.
- Verify, classify, compute, post and record accounts receivable data.
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit bank deposits electronically.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in receivable roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Monday-Friday work schedule from 8am to 5pm or as needed.
- Location: Main Office.
