Prominent Automotive Parts Manager

The automotive industry is a fast-paced and dynamic sector that requires professionals who can keep up with the latest trends and technologies.

As an accomplished Parts Manager, you will oversee the entire parts sales process from start to finish. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate effectively with staff and customers, ensuring that all interactions are friendly, professional, and result-oriented.

You will also be responsible for conversing with customers regarding their parts status, reading and understanding the parts catalog when looking up specific parts, and answering phone calls to provide price quotes and other essential information.

One of your key responsibilities will be to review body shop estimates to verify that the ordered parts are correct and all pricing aligns with the estimate.

A critical aspect of this role is providing high-level service to both internal and external customers, pulling/filling orders from stock, and maintaining weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.

Additionally, you will be responsible for notifying the Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that require immediate attention, locating out-of-stock parts from outside sources, and submitting emergency orders if necessary.

Another significant responsibility is ensuring all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders, receiving payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization, and meeting other related tasks.

Key Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; prior auto parts sales experience (preferred); strong interpersonal and time management skills; ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents; valid driver's license and clean driving record.
