Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Cargo Helicopter and Uncrewed Surveillance Program Office, you will be responsible for delivering complex electronics-electrical engineering work within an integrated workforce.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Investigate electrical/electronics and engineering concepts to ensure compliance with legislative frameworks and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
- Deliver and manage specifications and resources in support of the Defence materiel capability lifecycle.
- Investigate, analyse and report on electrical-electronics engineering defects and requirements.
- Develop and implement recommendations and advice to address issues.
The successful candidate will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex issues. They will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
About Our Team
The Cargo Helicopter and Uncrewed Surveillance Program Office (CHUSPO) delivers through-life support for the CH-47F Chinook and Army Aviation System Branch supported fleet of Uncrewed Aerial Systems. We are a diverse team of professionals working together to deliver critical capabilities to the Australian Defence Force.
About You
We are looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer who can demonstrate initiative and be willing to learn. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
What We Offer
