Foreman - Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team at Brandt. As a Foreman, you will play a critical role in mentoring and monitoring the workshop team to ensure that apprentices have the opportunities and support to develop their skills.
You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that the field and workshop operations are cohesive and efficient. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assigning Jobs and Work Areas: Assist in assigning jobs and work areas to Service Department employees based on their skills and knowledge.
- Repair Order Appraisal: Assist in the appraisal of repair orders coming into the Service Department and may participate in repairs.
- Diagnostic Support: Direct and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprentices.
- Tool Maintenance: Inspect and repair all special tools and recommend new tooling as required.
- Customer Complaints: Advise the Service Manager or Service Location Manager of all customer complaints.
- Training Coordination: Coordinate and schedule all in-house technician training.
- Safety Meetings: Assist the Service Manager or Service Location Manager with coordinating and conducting quarterly safety meetings.
- Leadership Support: May fill the Service Manager or Service Location Manager role in their absence.
- Equipment Preparation: May arrange for and participate in the re-conditioning of used equipment and set-up of new equipment.
- Equipment Release: May approve the release of equipment for delivery to the customer.
- Performance Feedback: Assist in providing performance feedback for service technicians and staff to the Service Manager or Service Location Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Foreman. If you have a passion for leadership and a desire to work with a globally recognized brand, we want to hear from you.
- 3+ years' experience as a Service Technician
- Previous agricultural experience is highly preferred
- Ability to lead others
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Forklift license preferred
