We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aboriginal Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide recovery-focused services to consumers with mental illness, distress, and risk issues.
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in mental health or a related field, such as nursing, occupational therapy, or social work. They will also possess strong communication skills, the ability to engage with consumers and their families, and knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
This is an identified position under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Aboriginal applicants must demonstrate their Aboriginality and provide evidence of their understanding of Aboriginal cultures and links with the local community.
