About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our team at ARCA Resourcing Ltd. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our client's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Accurate Demand Forecasts

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for our products, incorporating historical data, market trends, and sales input.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights and ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business objectives.

Monitor and Analyze Inventory Levels

You will monitor and analyze inventory levels, adjusting forecasts and safety stock parameters to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.

Manage Demand Planning Processes

You will manage demand planning processes to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of materials and finished goods.

Work with Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders

You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Related Field

You will need a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven Experience in Demand Planning

You will need 2-3 years+ proven experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Strong Analytical Skills

You will need strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Proficiency in Demand Planning Software

You will need proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
