About the role
\Environmental approval specialist wanted to support project delivery and create value across a diverse range of resources and energy projects.
\The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering environmental approval documentation, including:
\- \
- Preparing environmental impact studies and reports with terrestrial and/or marine components.\
- Developing Approval Strategies and providing strategic advice to engineering teams and clients.\
- Preparing permit and approval applications and modification documentation.\
- Preparing and implementing environmental management plans.\
- Preparing and implementing environmental monitoring programs.\
- Managing field work for data gathering in terrestrial and aquatic environments.\
- Preparing environmental risk assessments.\
- Undertaking surveillance inspections and audits.\
The ideal candidate will have:
\- \
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related fields of study.\
- Extensive experience as a practicing environmental professional.\
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or delivering WA State and Commonwealth environmental approvals in the resources and energy sector.\
- Experience interacting with regulatory authorities.\
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.\
- A flexible, adaptable, and problem-solving mindset.\
