Job Profile

The Procurement Leadership role is pivotal in shaping our organisation's supply chain strategy. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and develop procurement strategies that deliver cost-effective, sustainable, and high-quality sourcing outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Negotiate high-value contracts with suppliers.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Manage risk, compliance, and ethical sourcing practices within the supply chain.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ESG sustainability and ethical sourcing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and large-scale procurement projects.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement systems and category management tools.
  • Eight plus years' experience in procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.
  • Experience in industry-specific procurement (FMCG, manufacturing, logistics).
