About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our procurement team and shape the future of public transportation in Western Australia.

This is a highly influential role requiring a leader who can set strategic direction, deliver results, and uphold the highest standards of governance.

You will be responsible for setting the direction of procurement across goods, services, and works, leading a high-performing team, overseeing high-value contracts, and ensuring every outcome delivers measurable value to the community.

Your leadership will extend beyond process, building critical stakeholder relationships, safeguarding compliance with legislation, and driving procurement initiatives that advance government objectives.

This is a rare opportunity for a proven leader in procurement and contract management.

About You:
  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent certification.
  • Extensive experience in procurement of goods, services, and works and the application of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of trends, developments, and benchmarks affecting the procurement and contracting environment.
  • Strategic leadership skills to inspire and influence, leverage expertise and resources to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Highly developed leadership and management skills with a focus on providing sound strategic direction and support to achieve outcomes.
  • High-level written and verbal communications and experience in negotiation, with the ability to effectively communicate at the most senior levels.
