
Social Connector for Seniors

We are seeking a skilled and organized part-time activities coordinator to work with our team. As an activities coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities programs for seniors (over 65's) at our two day respite centres located in Brisbane.
The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating activities and working with older adults. You will actively engage with and build good relationships with clients and source potential clients from within our existing client database to help them connect socially with others in their community.
This is a part-time position based in the Brisbane CBD close to public transport with company cars available for travel to clients when needed. Training is provided.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized and self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude. The key qualifications and skills required for this role include:
- Experience as an activities or respite coordinator
- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (ideally)
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Good computer skills including with care databases, Outlook, MS Word and Excel
You will also need to meet the following requirements:
- Permanent Australian resident
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Open Australian Drivers Licence
- Fully vaccinated - COVID19 and Influenza
