About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our corporate development initiatives. As Corporate Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships and investments.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue opportunities that align with our company's goals and objectives. This includes:

  • Monitoring offshore and domestic markets, as well as product segments, including competitor and peer activity.
  • Assisting in the proactive identification of potential commercial partners and acquisition/investment targets, as well as proactively reviewing and managing our portfolio.
  • Investigating, assessing, and responding to inbound enquiries related to M&A and investment activity.
  • Assessing the viability and financial/strategic implications of potential M&A and commercial partnership opportunities.
  • Executing potential corporate transactions and commercial partnerships, including playing a lead role in key work streams such as financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, documentation, and integration.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in investment banking (Senior or Analyst or Associate level) or similar Corporate Finance/Advisory or Transaction Services experience, and/or internal Corporate Development positions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in developing detailed 3-way (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) financial models and valuations (including discounted cash flow valuations), and comparable company analysis.
  • Experience preparing presentations, and other bespoke analytics to support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance execution from origination through to completion is highly regarded.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
