We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our Group Engineering team. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will work closely with tender, project, plant, and fabrication teams to develop innovative methods and temporary works solutions across all disciplines of construction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Actively engaging in the strategic training, development, and support of operational project teams in the management and delivery of engineering activities.
  • Supporting knowledge building activities including other construction engineers and design personnel across the business.
  • Attending project sites to support the implementation of engineering solutions.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline.

  • A competent understanding of Australian and International codes and standards.
  • Self-sufficiency, requiring minimal supervision, with a focus on pragmatic and technically sound and safe design.
  • Strong oral and written presentation ability, linked with a sound relationship and integrity record.
  • Leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.
  • Competency in the use of relevant design and modeling software.
