Job Title: Strategic Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll processes for approximately 300 employees. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in managing payroll, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of multi-state payroll requirements, awards, legislation, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Audit and manage payroll and timekeeping systems with confidence

Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Solid understanding of multi-state payroll requirements, awards, legislation, and taxation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication skills and ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and other teams
  • Proactive mindset with passion for process improvement
