Lubrication Specialist

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team in a lubrication role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of maintenance activities, including lubrication, inspections, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and promoting a culture of safety
- Safely and effectively delivering planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including lubrication and repairs
- Assisting with overhauls and precision requirements, including bearing installations and alignment of rotating parts
- Maintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance and work orders
- Referencing unresolved issues and problems to the relevant supervisor
- Conducting regular stocktakes and audits on hydrocarbon levels and storage
- Ensuring compliant disposal of waste hydrocarbon and associated items
Requirements
- Trade qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a process plant environment, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector
- Knowledge of generic process plant policies and procedures
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems
- Understanding of risk assessment and management systems
- Relevant tickets, such as Forklift, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, EWP & Crane/Dogging/Rigging preferred
- WA 'C' Class drivers licence - must be manual
